Maxis got the Apple iPhone 3G deal in Malaysia!

The Maxis official iPhone 3G launch will be held on March 20, 7pm, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), where customers who have pre-registered for iPhone 3G will be invited to the event to collect their phones.

Maxis will offer the 8GB and 16GB iPhone 3G models with four new and specially designed postpaid plans called iValue, starting from RM100 per month.

For customers who sign up for a monthly commitment of RM375 over a 24-month period on the iValue 4 plan, the iPhone 3G 8GB will be provided free of charge.

So, do you think this phone is value for money with the new maxis ivalue plan?
How much you bought it the "market?"
Rm2500/16GB?

I bought my first generation iPhone in the States for USD 399 + 8% tax nearly one and a half years back. It seems Maxis is overcharging the iPhone price.

So, do you recommend buy it from the dark market?
I was told by my brother in SG, for the unlock 3G Iphone it only cost RM2500/16GB....under SINGTEL.
May be we should buy from SG rather than Maxis

Yes. I agree with you.

That's interesting, but I don't believe it at all.

Before iPhone launched, I've seen so many "creative" design of Apple's mobile phones and spread across the globe like real. Unfortunately, none of it real.

Overall, that's the fantasy of some designer.
